Guillermo Carracedo
Dr. Guillermo Carracedo was born in Buenos Aires on April 19th, 1943.
Graduated in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires, he joined the Bunge Group in 1962.
He was in charge of several tasks within the Holding. During ten odd years he had overall responsibility for the Group's Grain Trading Operation, after which he was appointed Executive Vice President and C.E.O. in Argentina. He left the holding in 1992.
Mentioned holding had about 15,000 workers; its yearly turnover placed it amongst the top private concerns and was composed by the following companies:

He was a Board Member of IDEA, FIEL and Consejo Empresario de América Latina.
He has dictated seminars, conferences and courses - both in Argentina and abroad - having written numerous works in his area of expertise.
He is a Member of the Academic Board of the Buenos Aires University.
He integrated the Directive Board of the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange.
In 1992 he became President of CADEC, Compañía Argentina de Comercio Sociedad Anónima.
